Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (K-Line) is launching a new feeder service between the East Coast of the United States and Amazon region in Brazil from October, 2008.

The service will be jointly operated with their partner Bringer Lines (located in Miami, Florida, USA) with the deployment of two 500 TEU vessels operating on a bi-weekly basis.

This new feeder service will connect the growing Amazon import market with K-Line's global network, particularly from Asia through K-Line's Asia/East Coast of United States services.

Port rotation is as follows: Savannah - Port Everglades - Manaus -Vila do Conde - Savannah
The new service starts in Savannah on October 17th with the vessel 'Baghira' sailing first.
