Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. has announced their launch of an independently operated fixed-day weekly service. The 28-day round trip voyage is formally called the Japan-China-Malaysia Service (JCM).
A total of 4 x 1,200 TEU containerships will be deployed on the new service with the first ship set to sail around October 24, 2010 from Qingdao.
The rotation of this service is: Tokyo, Yokohama, Qingdao, Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang, Penang, Port Kelang, Hong Kong, Shekou, Xiamen and Tokyo.
